In line with the dental awareness campaign, the Faculty of Dentistry, Melaka-Manipal Medical College (FOD, MMMC) invited SCM for a free dental screening and dental health education talk on 3 January 2013. Thirty students and two staff members were involved in this educational trip. The members of the contingent were taken around the premises to see the dental facilities and they later attended a talk on dental awareness. The members of the contingent were given a dental screening session too. The half-day programme was useful and informative. The members were invited to visit the clinic for follow-up treatment.
